Stop renting movies from your cable company they cost to much. I get most of my movies from Red Box now, It could be somewhat of a hassle at times but it's worth it to me only $1 per day.

Have you heard of a refund loan on your tax return? This scam is heavily pushed by tax-preparation chains like H&R Block and Jackson Hewitt. Millions of Americans go for this every year. This is a bad idea it's nothing more than a high percentage rate loan for your own money, don't do it. 1, pay your bills on time.
2, Pay off any old bills or try to settle them, Be sure to get any deal you make in writing before you send the money.
3, Don't open a bunch of new accounts in a short period of time.
4, Keep you balance low on credit cards in relation to your credit limit.
5, Don't close out your old accounts, Just don't use them. Closing credit accounts can hurt your credit.

Mistletoe is such a popular holiday symbol that you could easily make some extra holiday cash You should be able to find it growing in trees for free, it's like a parasite plant that grows in hardwood trees it has a distinctive ball like cluster of yellow-green foliage. Only take as much as you can sell quickly. Package them in small clusters that are easy to hang in a doorway for the traditional holiday kiss. Tie them with a festive bow. I saw some kids selling little bunches of mistletoe at the red light down at the mall for $3. This is a great idea to earn extra money, remember this for next year if its to late for you to get going this year

One of the best ways to gain wealth over time is to pay yourself first. On payday set aside money for yourself, lets say you have a checking account and a savings account I'm assuming you have direct deposit, On payday move a percentage of your pay into your savings I recommend 10% of you check. If you can't do 10% do $20 a week that will add up to more than $1000 over a year. The best way to pay yourself first is by payroll deduction you can use pretax dollars to pay yourself buy contributing to a 401k ask about it at work. Some banks offer a special savings account they can take money from your checking on a weekly or monthly basis i think at my bank they call it a Christmas club savings account, you are only able to make a withdraw around Christmas time.

If you don't see it you won't miss it. Payroll deposit makes your life so much easier. Not only does it save time from having to go to the bank but you save the gas not having to go. If you think you don't have anything to spare, just start with $10. That amount you will waste on a meal out you don't really need. Surprise yourself and see how fast it will grow. Than up it to $15 and maybe even $20. This is a good way to save for a new car or vacation or something you can otherwise not afford.

Here are several tips you can take to get out of credit card debt.

Paying off several thousand dollars or more in credit card debt takes time, and discipline.

1. If you have several cards, your first goal is to pay off the card with the lowest balance pay the minimum amount on all the the cards except the one with the lowest balance.

2. Pay more money toward that credit card pay as much as you can and eventually you can rip it up. Then you move onto the next card with the lowest balance and so on, and so on...

3. Stop using all of your credit cards... Pay with cash or don't buy it

Here is a great little simple plan to save up money. It's not my own idea i heard of it a couple years ago on the radio from Neal Boortz. Basically you never spend dollar bills from your wallet, pocket or purse. You simply save them up and when you receive dollar bills after a purchase you put them aside and when you get home from work you stash them in a jar or a box. Over the weeks, months and years (if you can last that long) it really adds up.

Lets say you swing by the gas station to buy coffee the cost is $1.29 you hand the cashier $5 she hands you back$3.71 instead of spending that $3 somewhere later on you put it away and put it into you jar when you get home.
